ITINERARY

*Meet at your hotel lobby, move to the nearest subway station
*Imperial Palace East Garden: The Garden is currently part of the Imperial Palace Tokyo, but until about 170 years ago it was Edo Castle, the residence of the Tokugawa family of shoguns who were the de facto rulers of Japan. we can learn about the culture and political system of the Edo period by visiting the vast remains of Edo Castle and the Japanese garden built within the castle.
*Koishikawa Korakuen garden is a famous garden that was built approximately 400 years ago by the Mito Tokugawa family, a relative of the Tokugawa shogunate, and is said to have been regarded as a model for later Japanese gardens. As we stroll around the pond, which is designed to look like a lake, we can experience the secret art of Japanese garden design.
*Hamarikyu Garden: a garden built in the sea villa of the Shogun family. As the garden of the top samurai shogun, it has several features that cannot be found in other feudal lord gardens. It also functions as a fortress, protecting Edo Castle from enemies from Tokyo Bay.

*Public transportation is well-developed in central Tokyo, so this tour uses the subway to get around efficiently.
*Basically, this tour is a walking tour using public transportation, mainly Tokyo Metro (Subway).
*Tokyo Metro 24-hour Ticket is 600 yen for adults, 300 yen for children. In some cases, we may use other public transportation such as JR Line.
